About my teaching

As a voice teacher, I believe every student’s voice is as unique as their story. I create individualized lesson plans that honor each singer’s goals, learning style, and musical interests.
My studio is a safe, encouraging space where students can explore their voices without fear, develop healthy technique, and grow in confidence. By combining personalized instruction with a nurturing environment, I aim to help each student discover their authentic sound and express themselves with freedom and joy.
I have taught voice lessons at Northwestern University, The Aspen Music Festival, the Music Conservatory of Illinois, and through my own private studio. With my years of experience in the singing world, I have the tools to lead my students to success.
In addition to voice lessons, I am able to teach, tutor, or coach students in Musicology, Language Study (diction, syntax, and/or semantics), Acting (Stanislavski and Uta Hagen), and Music Theory. I have classroom teaching experience at Northwestern University as well.
